synopsis |
A shady little businesman, who has come into possession of a limousine once belonging to Hermann Goering, advertises it for sale. Three customers come and compete for the car in a kind of auction. The first of them, a young boy, is only interested in the technical qualities of the car and leaves disappointed. The other two clients have emotional associations with the car. One of them, a German, had been the car's driver; the other, a member of Polish underground, had once taken part in an ambush on the car. The two men, carried away by their mempries, reenact the scene. The limousine remains unsold. |
